The big, bad lizards are back.
An as-yet-untitled thriller from Warner Bros. Pictures and Bad Robot has landed an Academy Award winner for its lead, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Anne Hathaway–who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her stirring role in Les Miserables–will lead the cast of what is being described as “a dinosaur movie set in the ’80s”. Apparently, much more will come–hopefully sooner rather than later.
The feature–slated to start production this fall–is being written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, who made his genre bones with the horror hit It Follows and Under The Silver Lake.
Mitchell will also produce the film, alongside J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella and Matt Jackson. Executive producers include Jake Weiner and Chis Bender.
