Animated Horror Series ‘Fright Krewe’ Set For Peacock, Hulu

Here’s where Eli Roth gets animated.

Fright Krewe–the first animated horror series from Dreamworks for older children–is headed to Hulu and Peacock. The first image from the show–which doesn’t yet have a release date–can be seen on this page.

Celebrated horror filmmaker Eli Roth (Cabin Fever, Hostel) will direct the 10-episode series that will be written by James Frey (A Million Little Pieces).

In the series, “an ancient prophecy and a voodoo queen put misfit teens in charge of saving New Orleans from the worst demonic threat it has faced in two centuries,” according to the logline.

Roth and Frey will also serve as executive producers–along with Joanna Lewis, Kristine Songco, Shane Acker and Mitchell Smith.
