Blanc-Biehn Productions announced today that Angus Macfadyen (Braveheart, We Bought A Zoo, Saw) will join the duo in their production of She Rises. Macfadyen has also joined the cast of AMC’s upcoming new drama Turn, which is based on George Washington’s personal spy network “The Culper Ring.”
The film will star Angus Macfadyen (Turn for AMC), Michael Biehn (Terminator, Aliens, Hidden in the Woods), Jennifer Blanc (Everly, Hidden in the Woods, Wrong Cops), and Daisy McCrackin (Cold Case, Halloween: Resurrection, Atlas Shrugged: Part I) starring as feature lead, Rosebud.

“We are very fortunate and thrilled to have Angus Macfadyen join our production of She Rises,” said Jennifer Blanc Biehn. “As an independent production company, it is very gratifying and validating to be supported by our peers in the acting community. We can’t wait to start production on this film and other BBP projects in the pipeline.”
“It has been rewarding to produce, direct, and tell the kind of stories that we are passionate about,” noted Michael Biehn. “We received great support and positive feedback from The Victim; it encouraged us to continue to add new films to an already packed roster.”
She Rises is about an ego driven Hollywood couple that are filming on location at a charming bed-and-breakfast run by an innocent young woman. But appearances aren’t always what they seem, and the couple soon learns that what seems beautiful and naïve on the outside can quickly turn in to their worst nightmare.
As with previous BBP films Lony Ruhman exec produces, Randy Chance will be managing composition and award winning Larry Wade Carrell is slated to direct She Rises. Angus Macfadyen is repped by Steve Muller and Steve Lamanna, at Innovative Artists, and managed by Bradley Kramer. Laura Berwick of Berwick Kovacik Management and Jim Osborne, at APA, represent Michael Biehn. Jennifer Blanc is managed by Sharp Talent Management and repped by Mark Quinn from Abrams Artists and James Boyle at the Atherton Group. Daisy Mc Crackin is repped by Tammy Jackson at Consortium management.
Jon Artigo will edit, and Danielle Artigo will help Blanc-Biehn Productions on the producing side.
