Scott Derrickson, director of The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Day the Earth Stood Still, is in alien territory once again with Thunderstruck, a new television series. The series is set to star Charlize Theron, who will also be producing. Deadline reports the show was picked up by AMC. Derrickson is co-writing the project with Paul Boardman.
