‘Alone In The Dark’ Thriller Set To Hit Tubi In October

A stalker in the dark–never a good thing.

Alone in the Dark–a new horror thriller that highlights the terrors of being home alone–will premiere on Tubi this October, according to a report on Deadline. Stay tuned for the exact debut date.

The film–directed by Brant Daugherty from a screenplay he wrote with his wife Kimberly (who also appears in the movie)–stars Novi Brown (Sistas), Terrell Carter (Empire), Christopher Bencomo (The Rookie) and Malcolm Goodwin (iZombie).

The film follows Bri Collins (Brown), a recent divorcee who is under house arrest due to her ex-husband’s crimes. As she begins to feel that she’s being stalked in her own house, “she hires Xavier Johnson (Carter), a personal bodyguard to protect her from her mysterious stalker and reveal his identity,” according to the synopsis. Bonded by their need to uncover the truth, “Xavier and Bri develop feelings for one another as chaos ensues.”

Brant and Kimberly Daugherty also act as executive producers, along with Marianne C. Wunch, Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer, Fernando Szew and David Sweeney.
