‘All My Friends Are Dead’ Signs Leads As Filming Approaches

The wages of sin is death.

All My Friends Are Dead--a new horror entry set to start shooting in Canada this spring–has inked its two young leads, according to a report on Deadline.

YouTube sensation JoJo Siwa and Jade Pettyjohn (Destroyer) will star in the film from director Marcus Dunstan (screenwriter on Saw 3D and Saw VI) and writers John Sims and Jessica Sarah Flaum. Casting continues on the movie, which is being shopped by Film Mode  at the European Film Market.

The film follows a group of college friends “who get a steal on an Airbnb for the biggest musical festival of the year,” according to the synopsis, “but a weekend of partying takes a turn for the worse–as the friends are murdered one by one. And each of the deaths directly corresponds with one of the seven deadly sins.”

John Baldecchi (Happy Death Day) is producing the feature, with Kevin Greutert (the Saw franchise) and Jason Resnick serving as executive producers.

Baldecchi said the film is “an entertaining mix of horror and humor,” adding that it’s “fun and scary–with clever plot twists that will keep you guessing until the very end.”
