Who’s talking this time?
One of this season’s surprise horror hits–A24’s Talk to Me–is getting a sequel (of course), with directors Michael and Danny Philippou returning to helm the project, according to a report on Deadline.
The follow-up–titled Talk 2 Me–will be written by Danny Pnilippou and Bill Hinzman. No production schedule or release window has yet been announced.
Talk to Me–already one of the studio’s highest-grossing horror pics ever–has raked in $22 million in its first 11 days in theaters.
In the film–starring Sophia Wilde, Joe Bird, Alexandra Jensen, Otis Dhanji and Miranda Otto–a teenager and her friends get together for a seance with a mysterious, embalmed hand and are “unprepared for the consequences of bending the rules through prolonged contact.”
