A New Take On ‘Frankenstein’ Being Developed At Sky Studios

Mary Shelley’s immortal work is being revisited.

A new original series based on Shelley’s 1818 horror classic Frankenstein is in the early stages of development at Sky Studios, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Frankenstein Untold–described as a “radical reimagining” of the iconic novel–will “explore the book’s philosophical and political themes” and will be told through the eyes of eight different characters.

The series–created by director Philipp Stolzl (Erased)–is currently being developed with producers Neue Schonhauser Film (Back on Track).
