‘A Cosmology Of Monsters’ To Get Small-Screen Adaptation

by Thomas Tuna

What happens when the make-believe monsters become real?

A Cosmology of Monsters–the 2019 debut horror novel by Shaun Hamill–will be adapted into an eight-episode TV series by Saloon Media (See No Evil), according to a report on Deadline.

The novel follows the Turners, a family surrounded by supernatural forces, who build an “immersive haunted house attraction” that goes horribly wrong, according to the description.

As the family navigates the challenges of staying in business, the inherent problems of adolescence and keeping the family together, “they soon realize there are real monsters at their door.”

Caitlin D. Fryers–the show’s creator and executive producer–will work with Saloon Media’s Melissa Williamson on development. Hamill and Saloon’s Michael Kot will also serve as executive producers. There has been no word at this early stage about production schedules or cast and crew choices.
