With just about a month to go before the long-awaited premiere of the fifth entry in the classic horror franchise, fans will be treated to a “new, exclusive Scream surprise” every day for the next 12 days. Just follow the Scream social accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The new Scream–directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick–picks up 25 years after the infamous string of murders terrorized Woodsboro. The R-rated movie brings back Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott, Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, David Arquette as Dewey Riley and Marley Shelton as Judy Hicks.

The slasher film also features Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Mikey Madison, Dylan Minnette, Jenna Ortega, Jack Quaid, Jasmin Savoy Brown and Sonia Ammar.

The original 1996 Scream–directed by Wes Craven and written by Kevin Williamson–follows high school student Prescott as she is stalked by the murderous Ghostface. The film grossed $173 million on a $15-million budget and gave birth to the popular franchise that has earned–to date–more than $600 million worldwide.
