Zombie Tramp #1 Review

Review by: Stephanie Shamblin Gray Review: Zombie Tramp #1 Title: Zombie Tramp #1 (Relaunch) Writer: Dan Mendoza and Jason Martin Artist: TMChu Publisher: Action Lab: Danger Zone Release Date: July 2014 Sub-Genre: Sexy Zombies Synopsis: The series relaunch previewed with a Free Comic Book Day issue continues here. Join creator Dan Mendoza for the all new adventures of the cult hit series featuring his undead anti-hero, Zombie Tramp, now brought to life by the amazing talents of new superstar artist TMChu. Its kinky supernatural fun as Zombie Tramp hits the road, starting in sin city of course! Our Thoughts: Oh, Zombie Tramp! Is there anyone else quite like you? I don’t think so. Even in the world of horror comics you are so far away from mainstream it’s almost hard to consider you in the same media. You are, truly, a unique little book. And quite polarizing, as well. No one will ever describe you as “meh.” It’s love or hate, and occasionally both. It’s so easy to see a man pick you up, exclaim “WTF,” and then start smiling as he reads you. You’ve been around since before the zombie apocalypse became fashionable, and I have a feeling your rotting corpse will still be around after it isn’t again. It’s nice to see that your maker, Dan Mendoza, now has some new collaborators. Jason Martin always has some fun ideas and TMChu has given you a funky-fresh new makeover. And the covers! Who can not want to collect them all! It is always nice to see you, Zombie Tramp and I hope to see more of you in the future. Keep it real.  For More Information: Check out the Action Lab website: http://www.actionlabcomics.com/danger-zone/ and our preview here: http://www.comicmonsters.com/item-8661-Zombie_Tramp_1_preview.html.
