Treyarch Reveals First Look At ‘Black Ops Cold War Zombies’

Yesterday video game developer Treyarch revealed an 8-minute video showcasing Black Ops Cold War Zombies. Packed with action and updates the video gives players insight on the horrors they can expect from the game.

The new features announced for the game has fans abuzz with the biggest being news being cross-play and cross-gen.  This allows squads to be formed across platforms and generations.

Other features added to the game are:

  • A loadout mechanic which gives players a weapon to start the game besides the pistol.
  • You can now end a game by escaping by calling a helicopter for pickup.
  • Weapon rarity for greater damage.
  • Field upgrades which add another layer to squad-based tactics.

Black Ops Cold War Zombies is set to take veterans and newcomers alike on a bold and terrifying journey that expands on an iconic part of the Call of Duty franchise. This co-op mode includes new ways to progress, classic Perks, and an arsenal of Cold War-era Zombies weaponry that will help survivors dominate the legions of undead.
