Travel Channel Renews ‘Ghost Nation’ For a 20 Episode Second Season

According to the official press release, Travel Channel has decided to pick up the second season of its new series Ghost Nation, starring the majority of the original Ghost Hunters crew: Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves, and Dave Tango.

The decision doesn’t appear to have been a difficult one, as the premiere of Ghost Nation was the second-highest rated debut for the network this year and one of their most consistent new series in terms of viewership, with over five million total viewers so far.

Matthew Butler, general manager, Travel Channel made the annoucement on the eve of their last episode of the first season, saying that “Ghost Nation was an exciting launch for us, and it’s clear our viewers are just as eager to see Jason, Steve and Dave back on the case, doing what they do best.  We’re beyond elated to do another season with them, super serving their loyal fan base with more locations and deeper investigations.”
