Trailer for Simon Pegg and Nick Frost’s New Horror Comedy ‘Slaughterhouse Rulez’ Debuts

Horror fans are very familiar with the antics of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, primarily through Edgar Wright’s Shaun of the Dead and the rest of his “Cornetto Trilogy” (including Hot Fuzz and The World’s End.)

Although Wright doesn’t have any involvement in their latest collaboration, the boarding school horror comedy Slaughterhouse Rulez, the trailer seems to include a lot of what fans would expect from the duo.  Pegg and Frost are joined by Michael Sheen and Asa Butterfield in the film, directed by  Crispian Mills (who previously worked with Pegg on 2012’s A Fantastic Fear of Everything).

The British production (which seems to poke fun at everything from The Cider House Rules, the Harry Potter series, and An American Werewolf in London) is set for a Halloween 2018 release in the UK from Sony Pictures International.  No american dates have been revealed as of yet, but stay tuned to Horror News Network for more updates, and check out the brand new trailer below.

He has fond memories of going to Waldbaum’s supermarket with his mother and being rewarded with a 3-pack of sealed comics. It’s been all downhill from there… Since those early days, his life has been immersed in four color action and scares on the silver screen.
