Tom Savini Visits ‘The Last Drive-In With Joe Bob Briggs’ on May 1

Special effects makeup master Tom Savini’s work has certainly been featured at many a drive-in theater, but Savini has never before appeared on an episode of Shudder’s The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs until now.

Savini will visit with Briggs on Friday, May 1, at 9PM ET and discuss a surprise 1980’s film that he worked on.

Shudder members interested in Savini’s life and career can learn more about him in the documentary Smoke and Mirrors: The Story of Tom Savini, available to stream now on the network.

Savini’s is the third special guest this season, after last week’s co-hosting gig by wrestling superstar Chris Jericho (presenting notorious cult film Bloodsucking Freaks) and actor Kelli Maroney (who discussed her work in Chopping Mall).

New episodes of The Last Drive-In premiere every Friday on Shudder.
