Our Thoughts: Vertigo Comics delivers a solid anthology with The Witching Hour #1. Nine tales of horror from various talent grace these pages.

The two stories that really standout in this issue are ‘Daniel’ by Steve Beach and ‘Mars to Stay’ by Brett Lewis and Cliff Chiang. In ‘Daniel’ a man meets three young witches who deliver a message from his past. In ‘Mars to Stay’ astronauts are stranded on Mars and turn against one another.

Fans of horror anthologies will want to pick up this new title from Vertigo. Look for The Witching Hour #1 in stores now.
