The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – “Forget”

Synopsis: Rick and the group continue to acclimate to their new surroundings.

Thoughts: **SPOILERS** Well the synopsis doesn’t really give the full picture of what just happened on this week’s “Walking Dead.”   Sure, the show starts off with everyone appearing to acclimate, however, not all feel quite comfortable inside the walls of Alexandria.  Is it for good reason?

First off, I need to mention that Carol may be wearing ridiculous mom jeans and a flowered sweater, but she is still one bad mofo.  Don’t believe me?  Just ask poor little Sam who found her in the supply shed.  Rick’s character has also changed quite a bit. Lori who? Yes, still focused on his family, but let’s just say it’s been quite a while since we have seen Rick even remotely interested in any woman. Meanwhile, from beginning to end of this week’s show, Sasha is in full meltdown mode.  One has to wonder how long she will be able to mentally hold it together.

Some pretty great walker kills, including Daryl’s head stomp.  Much of the horrific gore came during poor Button’s demise.  As this episode ends, it seems like all is well, however, it is also pretty unsettling.  Judging by scenes from next week, all hell will soon break loose again.

So, will Rick jump on his impulse towards the Doctor’s wife?  Will Sam get his cookies?  With only three episodes left in the season, will a new enemy present themselves? How long until our crew has to throw down and battle for their lives again?

Stay tuned…
