If you were at the Connecticut Cult Classics double feature of Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night in December of 2017, you were lucky enough to catch our screening of Jill ‘Sixx’ Gevargizian’s beautiful short film The Stylist.
Starring Najarra Townsend (Contracted) as Claire, a hair stylist who escapes the loneliness of her life by living vicariously through – and as – her clients, The Stylist screened at over a hundred film festivals across the globe and won twenty awards including the Jury Award and Audience Choice at Etheria Film Night and Najarra picked up “Best Performance” awards at Fantastic Fest, Monster Fest, Knoxville Horror Film Fest, and Nightmares Film Fest.
Already an accomplished short film maker and music video director, Jill Gevargizian knew that The Stylist would eventually be the film that she turned into a feature film and she recently realized that now is the time so her and her killer team has launched a Kickstarter to help fund the feature.
If you’ve never seen The Stylist short, click below to watch it as well as to read why Jill has decided to make this into a full feature.
Best of luck Jill and team!
Stay gory my friends.
