‘The New Mutants’ Teaser Scares Ahead of Release

As if growing up isn’t scary enough, The New Mutants looks to take a horrifying turn for the world of mutants, people with powerful abilities who can use them for good as well as evil, in the latest teaser for the upcoming release showing these youngsters must face their demons.

Check out the teaser here:

Now under the brand title 20th Century Studios following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, The New Mutants is the final entry in the X-Men film series whether the studio admits it or not. The film was originally meant to be released within a few months of Deadpool 2 in 2018 and have more connections with the main series.

Staring Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), it is currently unknown if the film is to be entirely a stand-alone entry or meant to segue the mutant characters into Disney’s larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The New Mutants is set for release on April 3.

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
