‘The New Mutants’ Gets Poster Ahead of Release

In what can be looked at as the real “last stand” for the 20th Century Fox X-Men franchise, The New Mutants has a new poster released just today via the film’s official Twitter page.

Check it out here!

Starring Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones), Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things), Alice Braga (I am Legend), Blu Hunt (The Originals) and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why), New Mutants focuses on a group of young mutants who are just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will. They must fight to escape their past sins and save themselves before their worst fears take control.

Although faced with major setbacks throughout production, director Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) has stuck by the film right on through and has confirmed it will be the version he envisioned.

Set for release on April 3, The New Mutants will give audiences something different by being a horror film as well as a superhero movie.

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
