‘The Haunting of Bly Manor’: The Horror News Network Preview

Without question, The Haunting of Hill House was a monster hit for Netflix.  Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s novel was one of the most talked about genre events of 2018.  Now after almost two years, the highly anticipated follow-up, The Haunting of Bly Manor is set to drop on October 9th.

The first season of The Haunting focused on the Crain family, with the members struggling as much with their inner demons, as they were with the ghosts in the house. While The Haunting of Bly Manor promises some familiar faces, don’t expect the Crain family to be front and center. First look photos show the return of Henry Thomas, Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti, but as different characters altogether.

Horror News Network’s Christine Caprilozzi and Stephanie Shamblin-Gray decided to break this all down for fans before the The Haunting of Bly Manor makes its way to Netflix next month.
