‘THE CHAIR’ Reaches Initial Kickstarte?r Goal

Alterna Comics has announced that they have reached their initial goal for The Chair.

Here is what they had to say:

The Chair had a $40,000 Kickstarter goal to secure cast & crew and to finalize deposits on locations, props, equipment – so we set our goal for these pre-production costs and in the first week of relaunch we’re proud to say that backers came out in droves again and we hit our goal!

Now we’ve released stretch goals; unofficial milestones that will help us to make a better film while also rewarding qualifying backers with some great bonus add ons!  One of our rewards is something that every backer will receive – an option to have their picture included in our photo mosaic mini-poster that will be signed by the cast & crew!

We also have copies of the film on dvd or blu-ray, the graphic novel signed by the creative team, t-shirts, stickers, a slew of items signed by the cast & crew, props from the film, and even an opportunity to have a speaking role, cast credit, and Executive Producer credit IN the film!

With a great cast & crew, a solid production team behind us, and the best fans in the world – this kickstarter has potential to be a game changer for indie comic creators looking to turn their stories into films.
