Teaser Trailer Arrives for ‘A Quiet Place’

Moments ago Paramount Pictures revealed the teaser trailer for the upcoming film A Quiet Place. While there is no official synopsis of the film just yet, the trailer provides us enough insight to let us know that the family is being hunted by something sinister in the woods. The footage shows a family living in terror as they must remain as quiet as possible. They walk on specific parts of the floor in hopes that the boards won’t creak; use sign language to communicate and even go to measures to ensure their board games do not make noise.

John Krasinski best known for his role as “Jim” on The Office, directs and co-stars in the film with his real-life wife Emily Blunt. Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds round out the cast as the children who find themselves living through a hellish nightmare.

At this time, the only insight to what the creature may be lies at the 45 second mark of the trailer. Three long, deep slashes are shown on the wall in the stairway, presumably from some sort of claw.

The film is set to be released in theaters April 6, 2018. Check back soon for more information on A Quiet Place as it becomes available.
