Universal Studios will always hold a special place in the heart of every horror fan due to their dedication to the original screen monsters Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolfman, The Mummy, and a host of others. The original filming location for many of these classics took place on the grounds of the studio that is now more famous for the theme-park and tour it operates on a daily basis. The famed Los Angeles location has a long history, and not only in terms of the thousands of films produced there. Many have suggested that there might also be ghosts that inhabit the world-famous Universal Studios lot and theme park.

Attendees will have many snacks and drinks to choose from including over five different desserts that naturally feature waffles including a Strawberry Shortcake waffle, a Bananas Foster waffles, a “triple decker extravaganza” (three waffles stacked to the ceiling filled with whipped cream and candy), fudge-dipped waffles on a stick, and a waffle ice cream pocket sundae. read more
Hot on the heels of Universal Studio’s announcement of the dates for 2018’s Halloween Horror Nights, the theme park empire announced today that the first maze would be dedicated to none other than Netflix’s Stranger Things.
Universal’s Patrick Braillard described some of the initial details of the maze (which will be featured on both coasts at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood) stating that it would recreate “…some of the show’s most iconic scenes, 80’s settings, and most loved characters (#RIPBarb). You’ll faithfully follow the storyline, starting off on Mirkwood and then quickly moving to inside Hawkins National Laboratory where things have gone terribly, terribly wrong. From there you will experience all the most memorable moments and environments from the show while being hunted at every turn by the Demogorgon.” read more
Director Eli Roth has filmed a number of horror films, but he’s never filmed a commercial about any of his, and certainly not one about films and television shows he hasn’t directed.
Universal Studios Orlando and Hollywood released a 30 second spot by Roth featuring a number of their horror houses from this year’s annual event. Roth’s commercial features a veritable Halloween feast of classic scenes from the Shining, Saw, and American Horror Story.
Earlier this week, Universal Studios Orlando announced a “best-of” house called “The Horrors of Blumhouse” which will feature a triple threat of Blumhouse studio hits including: The Purge, Insidious, and Sinister. read more
Universal Theme Parks announced today that the Saw franchise would be turned into a maze of terror at the annual Halloween Horror Nights Event at Universal Studios Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood.
