Review – The Walking Dead:The Pop-Up Book

Wondering what to get your favorite Walking Dead fan for the holidays? I have got just the thing for you! It’s “The Walking Dead: The Pop-Up Book.”  Since watching “The Babadook” last year I have been kinda waiting for pop-up books to catch on, especially with horror books. I mean, you just can’t get the same scare with a printed page as you can with a movie, am I right? Well, now we have the opportunity to be totally grossed/freaked out by a book. And it’s based on our favorite TV show. Score! read more

The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – Here’s Not Here

The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – “Here’s Not Here”

Synopsis: A new face and setting are introduced. With all that’s gone on in the apocalypse, can people be trusted?

Thoughts: **SPOILERS** So after last week’s non-stop jaw dropping episode, what did The Walking Dead deliver fans this week? We got a look at Morgan’s journey.  This means that for all you die-hard fans waiting to see if Glenn pops out of a dumpster… you will just have to sit through more AMC commercials and wait until next week.   While the episode was well done and very well acted by Lenny James and John Carroll Lynch, we will have to see if Morgan’s backstory is that pivotal to the storyline to warrant a 90 minute episode.  But really, who better to counsel a traumatized and psychotic Morgan to Zen than Twisty the clown? read more

The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – “JSS”

By Christine Caprilozzi

The Walking Dead Weekly Wrap Up – “JSS”

Synopsis: As Rick and the others carry out their mission at the quarry, Carol, Carl, Maggie and the remaining Alexandrians must defend the safe-zone against an attack from The Wolves, a savage gang of scavengers.

Thoughts: **SPOILERS** Well Walking Dead fans, this week’s episode was certainly action packed. The Wolves finally show themselves, and with extreme brutality. Sure there were some cool walkers and great gore for horror fans.  However, the main conflict in this episode, which seemed to cause an internal conflict for Morgan, was the living killing the living.   read more
