FX Releases Official Trailer for Alex Garland’s ‘Devs’

Devs, the mysterious new limited series from writer/director Alex Garland, is finally ready to make its debut. Netflix Releases Trailer for ‘Maniac’ Starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill

Netflix has a new series coming out called Maniac. It’s not based on the ultra-violent 1980 William Lustig film, but it still looks pretty darn creepy! The series is co-written and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the writer of It (2017) and the director behind the incredible first season of True Detective. In the new trailer, Stone’s and Hill’s characters appear to be participating in a pharmaceutical trial that’s going off the rails with unintended side effects. Alex Garland to Write and Produce Tech Murder Mystery Series Starring Sonoya Mizuno for FX

Alex Garland- the visionary writer/director behind such films as Ex Machina and Annihilation– is set to focus his attention on the small screen for an upcoming technological thriller project with FX.

Variety reports that FX has officially ordered an 8 episode run of Devs, a murder mystery which takes places within a nefarious big tech company. According to their report, the television series, “follows a young computer engineer, Lily Chan, as she investigates the secretive development division of her employer, a cutting-edge tech company based in San Francisco, whom she believes are behind the murder of her boyfriend.” read more
