‘The Stylist’ Feature Film Launches Kickstarter Campaign

If you were at the Connecticut Cult Classics double feature of Black Christmas and Silent Night, Deadly Night in December of 2017, you were lucky enough to catch our screening of Jill ‘Sixx’ Gevargizian’s beautiful short film The Stylist.

Starring Najarra Townsend (Contracted) as Claire, a hair stylist who escapes the loneliness of her life by living vicariously through – and as –  her clients, The Stylist screened at over a hundred film festivals across the globe and won twenty awards including the Jury Award and Audience Choice at Etheria Film Night and Najarra picked up “Best Performance” awards at Fantastic Fest, Monster Fest, Knoxville Horror Film Fest, and Nightmares Film Fest. read more

Jill Sixx’s “The Stylist” Gets Blu-Ray Release

Najarra Townsend (Contracted) stars as Claire, a manic hairstylist with an unnerving desire to escape her disappointing reality. When her final client of the day arrives with the request to look perfect, it slowly becomes clear that Claire has much darker intentions. February is Women in Horror Month! As part of the Horror News Network spotlight on women this month we have talked to Jill “Sixx” Gevargizian about her experiences as a woman in the world of horror. Jill’s most recent horror short The Stylist starring Najarra Townsend (Contracted) won a slew of awards including the Jury Award and Audience Choice at the prestigious Etheria Film Night and Jill also nabbed best director of a short film at Requiem Fear Fest.
