What’s Your Favorite Scary Movie? How About Your State’s Favorite?

Have you ever wondered what horror film is your state’s favorite? Me neither…until the fine folks over at Streaming Observer gathered the data to show us what is every state’s favorite! Don’t believe me? How did they do it, you ask? Well…science, of course.

According to their website:

Using data from Rotten Tomatoes, proprietary Amazon MTurk surveying, and other public sources, we compiled a list of the most popular horror movies of all time. Then, we partnered with Mindnet Analytics and used Google Trends data to determine which horror movie each state was most obsessed with relative to other states. read more

Top 17 Horror Films of 2017

So here we are at the end of another fun-filled year of blood and gore and it’s time to wrap up by giving you my top 17 films of 2017. So many awesome movies came out this year that I literally started this list with nearly 40 titles before eventually whittling it down to a final 17. My sincere hope is that you haven’t seen some of these films and that I can help bring some disturbing, and maybe even humorous, cinema to you life. Enjoy.

New Trailer and Theater Listings for Phantasm: Remastered

This Saturday, the remastered version of Don Coscarelli’s 1979 classic Phantasm is scheduled to hit theaters and, in anticipation, a new trailer has been released to get folks in the mood for some Tall Man.
