We reported back in February that the next Halloween movie will be written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, and directed by Green. John Carpenter will serve as executive producer and he is considering composing the music for the film. Around the time of the announcement, McBride and Green alluded to the film being a literal or spiritual successor to 1981’s Halloween II. Now, Danny McBride has dropped another tidbit on the project that proves the group’s commitment to the earlier films of the franchise: the new Michael Myers will not have supernatural or immortal qualities!
Independent game developers, Starbreeze and Behaviour announced their collaboration with Compass International Pictures on bringing a Halloween Chapter to the multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight.
Set for release on October 25th, the chapter will feature the king of slashers himself, Michael Myers and his hometown, Haddonfield. If that wasn’t enough to get horror fans behind the game, it was also announced that Laurie Strode will be in the game as well.
Dead by Daylight is a multi-player survival horror game where one player takes control of the killer and the other players try to survive. The game was released on June 14, 2016 and has received many rave reviews and currently holds a 7/10 score on the digital gaming distribution platform, Steam. read more
Thousands of diehard horror fans descended upon the Matrix Conference Center in Danbury, CT this past Saturday to take part in the third annual CT HorrorFest which is put on by Rob and Christine Caprilozzi, Connecticut residents and founders of popular news website Horror News Network.
Those in attendance were greeted by a slew of incredible vendors which included Food Network Cupcake Wars winners Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes, haunted attraction gurus Evidence of Evil and Face-Off finalist and SpecialFX wizard Tyler Green. read more
Welcome to the first post-Halloween edition of Horror Hunting!, as we barrel into November. Just because this special day for kids and horror freaks has passed, that doesn’t mean you can’t stay in the Halloween spirit!
