Ever since Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain dropped in 2015 and it was clear that Hideo Kojima- the franchise’s visionary creator- would no longer be working for Konami, fans of his work waited with baited breath to see what he would create next. Since E3 2016, we knew his new company, Kojima Productions, was working on a new title called Death Stranding, and we’ve since been treated to a variety of unusual teaser trailers featuring the uncanny digital renderings of Hollywood royalty such as Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, and Guillermo del Toro. But as the years went by, so did many people’s hopes that we’d ever get to play the game any time soon. That all changes today with a brand-new trailer featuring extensive gameplay footage and the official release date for the highly-anticipated game!

(a playable teaser for Silent Hills, a game meant to be Kojima’s and Guillermo Del Toro’s take on the legendary Silent Hill franchise) dropped on Playstation 4, fans have been clamoring for the video game legend’s take on a full size horror game.
