A lot of fans haven’t been happy with the direction that The Walking Dead has taken in its eight season, but don’t tell AMC CEO Josh Sapan.
The CEO was bullish about the continued health of The Walking Dead during a conference call with Wall Street analysts today, stating that the series and franchise are “in great shape and the people who are managing that great shape are motivated.”
Sapan went so far as to suggest that The Walking Dead may run for decades to come, saying that “We’ve studied the best. Some have been around 30, 40, 50 years. We have a chance for a lot of life in the franchise.”
