Food Network is Bringing a Load of Treats to Viewers This Halloween Season

If you love Halloween and all of the sweet treats associated with every horror fan’s favorite holiday,  Food Network and Cooking Channel have over 30 hours of Halloween-themed programming this September and October.   And according to the official press release, the spooky, tasty line-up includes “…four new series and specials, four returning seasonal stunts, as well as specially-themed episodes in nine recurring series giving viewers even more Halloween frights and bites than last year.  Featuring everything from expert pumpkin carvers to sugar artists to creative bakers, all with extraordinary skills and incredible imaginations, there is something for everyone this Halloween season.” read more

‘Halloween Wars’ Returns to Food Network This October

Looking for some spooky food ideas for your upcoming Halloween celebration?  If so, we have the show for you! Halloween Wars returns to Food Network with a new season as well as a new spin-off series Halloween Wars: Hayride of Horror on October 1st, starting at 9:00 p.m.  The program features the manic Jonathan Bennett as he “…challenges six teams to create amazing and frighteningly fun Halloween-themed edible displays. Over five episodes the teams must battle it out, as their creations are judged by renowned cake decorator Shinmin Li and horror film director and makeup effects master Todd Tucker, along with a rotating panel of celebrity guest judges, including Fiona Dourif (True Blood), Bryan Fuller (Executive Producer, American Gods), Juliet Landau (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2: Judgment Day), and Shane West (Salem).One team will be eliminated each episode, with the last team standing walking away with the $50,000 grand prize.” read more
