Every October,  horror fans across the country use our spookiest month as an excuse to binge watch as many horror films as possible. Some hardcore enthusiasts even make a list of 31 movies and stick to watching one per every day of the month. But what’s out there for the veteran who doesn’t have the time for 31 movies, or the casual fan who wants to expand his or her horror horizons? Halloween Havoc Film Event Treats Horror Fans

On Saturday night Connecticut Cult Classics hosted Halloween Havoc at the Strand Theater in Seymour, CT. Horror fans packed into the theater early on this rainy, brisk October night eager to watch Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Trick ‘r Treat.

After welcoming the crowd, Larry Dwyer, owner of Connecticut Cult Classics announced that the next event would be an 80’s slasher night on November 12th featuring a double feature of April Fool’s Day and The Burning.

Fans settled in their seats as they were then treated to fifteen minutes of old horror trailers which drew a loud ovation from the crowd. read more
