Glenn Danzig Reveals First Production Stills of ‘Verotika’

It’s time to tell MOTHER that Glenn Danzig has release three production stills from his debut feature film titled Verotika via Facebook.

Currently in post-production, he promises the film is going to be a hard R-rated visual feast.

The photos that were released Monday, 2/25 on social media feature three scenes; a woman viewed from the back gazing eerily into a mirror in a candlelit room, a horrifyingly grotesque monster pulling back on the face of what appears to be a shocked captive and finally a woman wearing a spiked-crown in a mesh headdress with an angry expression as she is wielding a knife in one hand and holding the hair of a dead-eyed victim in the other. read more

Original Misfit Glen Danzig Will Create a Horror Film Based on his Verotik Comic Characters

According to Blabbermouth, the frontman of the Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig, Glenn Danzig, has signed a feature film agreement with Cleopatra Entertainment, a division of the Los Angeles independent record label Cleopatra Records to produce an anthology film based on his Verotik comic characters.  Danzig will have a large stake in the film, as he will write, direct, and compose the music for the upcoming movie.

Brian Perera, owner and CEO of Cleopatra Records/Cleopatra Entertainment, said that “Glenn has a fantastic track records of building brands, including Verotik. We’re excited to bring his vision and passion to the screen.” read more

Misery Obscura Author and Horror Rock Legend Eerie Von: The Horror News Network Interview

With over 35 years in the music business, over some of the most exciting eras in rock music, Eerie Von is a man who is near and dear to fans of punk, goth, metal, and horror-inspired music.  What fans may not know is that Eerie Von is also an accomplished photographer.
