A lot of things can scare you on New Year’s eve, but if you are looking for scares of the supernatural variety, The Travel Channel has you covered this holiday season with a two-day Ghost Adventures marathon, and the television premiere of Zak Bagans’ documentary Demon House. The festivities kick off on Monday, December 31 at 8:00 a.m. , and will feature Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley, highlighting some of their most popular and terrifying investigations including: “Manresa Castle,” “Odd Fellows Asylum,” “Grand Canyon Caverns,” “Old Lincoln County Hospital,” “Palace Saloon,” “Kennedy Mine,” “The Titanic Museum,” “Pythian Castle,” “The Slaughter House,” “Nevada State Prison,” “Black Dahlia House,” “Return to Winchester Mystery House,” “Stone Lion Inn,” “The Washoe Club: Final Chapter,” and more.
Anyone who is a fan of reality-based paranormal programming is certainly familiar with the Travel Channel’s long-running (ten years and counting!) Ghost Adventures series, and as usual, the frenetic team of investigators will return with a new four-part series entitled Graveyard of the Pacific and their annual live adventure on Halloween night!
Premiering on Saturday, October 6 a 9 p.m., Ghost Adventures: Graveyard of the Pacific features lead investigator Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley as they head to “…a treacherous nautical region within the Pacific Northwest where the freshwater of the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. Here, darkness plagues both land and sea – the ocean has claimed thousands of shipwrecks and countless lives, while unexplained deaths, diseases, fires and murders have impacted areas around the shoreline. The investigation takes the team to multiple haunted locations – from the underground tunnels weaving beneath the city of Astoria, Oregon, and the port city’s Norblad Hostel to the Fort Stevens Military Base outside of town where dangerous entities are believed to haunt various sites.” read more
The Ghost Adventures team are bringing a host of Halloween horrors to fans this October, as they embark for the first time on a Four-Part “ghosts of the Civil War” Special (starting on October 7th at 9:00 p.m. on the Travel Channel) and they are also bringing back their traditional Halloween investigation special featuring the arrival of the world famous Annabelle doll to Zac Bagan’s Haunted Museum (which airs on October 28th at 9:00 p.m.).
According to the official press release, the four part special will feature trips to “…haunted Vicksburg, Mississippi, exploring the lasting impact the Civil War’s Siege of Vicksburg has had on the city. The team searches for paranormal evidence during lockdown investigations in McRaven Mansion, considered to be the most haunted building in the South; an antique doll museum said to contain dolls that come alive; an abandoned hospital; and the site of the Battle of Champion Hill.” read more
