I haven’t played Trivial Pursuit in years but it looks like I’ll be taking another crack at it soon enough as the folks at USAopoly have released a “Horror Movie Edition” which I managed to snag today. While not like the classic version of the game that I grew up with (there’s no game board or dozens of multi-colored pie pieces to either lose or step on like legos), the game still calls upon that part of your brain that stores (mostly) useless knowledge; this time in the form of horror films.
While the film Alien: Covenant is set to be released on May 19th, Fox has announced that it is also working on a virtual reality experience aimed at scaring the life out of folks. This will be the second VR release from Fox Innovation Lab (the first being The Martian VR Experience) and will be executive produced by Ridley Scott himself.
The studio describes the VR Experience as “a dread-inducing journey into the depths of the Alien universe. Viewers will discover the true meaning of terror as they navigate through horrifying alien environments and a story where every decision could mean the difference between life and death.” read more
