Djimon Hounsou to Replace Brian Tyree Henry in ‘A Quiet Place 2’

Just in from The Wrap, Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, In America, Shazam!) has joined the highly-anticipated sequel A Quiet Place 2 replacing Brian Tyree Henry who left the project due to scheduling conflicts.

Hounsou, whose upcoming projects also include Charlie’s Angels, The King’s Man, and the TV series What If…?, joins Emily Blunt, who returns for the sequel alongside cast members Noah Jupe (Suburbicon, Wonder) and Millicent Simmonds (Wonderstruck), with John Krasinski who will write and direct again. Golden Globe nominee Cillian Murphy (Breakfast on Pluto, Peaky Blinders) will also star in the sequel, set for release on March 20, 2020. read more

Anne Hathaway and Matthew McConaughey last dazzled audiences with their stellar performances in Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. Now, they’ve reteamed for a dark new thriller called Serenity. The movie takes place on a beautiful island paradise, reminiscent of the tropical locale of I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. In a new trailer for the film, Hathaway’s mysterious lady in white asks a breathy McConaughey to kill her husband for ten million dollars.
