Trailer for Neil Jordan’s ‘Greta’ Offers Suspense and Scares

Written and directed by Neil Jordan (Interview with the Vampire, The Crying Game), Greta stars Chloë Grace Moretz (Suspiria, Let Me In) as Frances and Isabelle Huppert (Elle) in the title role. Slated for it’s worldwide release on March 1, 2019, the official synopsis is as follows:

A sweet, naïve young woman trying to make it on her own in New York City, Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz) doesn’t think twice about returning the handbag she finds on the subway to its rightful owner. That owner is Greta (Isabelle Huppert), an eccentric French piano teacher with a love for classical music and an aching loneliness. Having recently lost her mother, Frances quickly grows closer to widowed Greta. The two become fast friends — but Greta’s maternal charms begin to dissolve and grow increasingly disturbing as Frances discovers that nothing in Greta’s life is what it seems in this suspense thriller from Academy Award-winning director Neil Jordan. read more

The New Poster Art for the ‘Suspiria’ Remake has Arrived

Suspiria, Suspiria, Suspiria…should we say it again? Why not, it seems to be all that everyone is talking about lately! Last week we brought you the newest trailer for Luca Guadagnino’s much-anticipated remake of Dario Argento’s classic (click here for that) and this week brings the latest bloody artwork.

From the official synopsis:

“A darkness swirls at the center of a world-renowned dance company, one that will engulf the troupe’s artistic director (Swinton), an ambitious young dancer (Johnson), and a grieving psychotherapist (Ebersdorf). Some will succumb to the nightmare. Others will finally wake up.” read more

First Full Trailer for ‘Suspiria’ Reboot is Here

After months of speculation about what to expect from Luca Guadagnino’s take on Dario Argento’s most celebrated film, Suspiria, we finally have a full trailer to whet our appetites while we await the film’s release this fall. What we see in the two and a half minute trailer of the two and a half hour film is equal parts tension and suspense with just a tiny bit of the gore that shocked the crowd at CinemaCon this past April when they were showed a full scene (read more about that here). read more

First Image Revealed and Voice Cast Announced for ‘Addams Family’

According to Deadline, MGM has solidified the voice over cast for the upcoming animated reboot of The Addams Family. Joining the previously announced Oscar Isaac (Gomez) will be a star-studded cast including Bette Midler as Grandmama, Charlize Theron as Morticia, Chloe Grace Moretz as Wednesday, Finn Wolfhard as Pugsley, Nick Kroll  as Uncle Fester, and Allison Janney as Margaux Needler.  In addition to the voice cast being announced, MGM also released the first image from the film which is being directed by Conrad Vernon and Greg Tiernan both of Sausage Party fame. read more
