‘Stranger Things’ Season Three Sets New Netflix Record for Most Watched Program
Netflix executives must feel like they just received a life-time supply of U.S.S. Butterscotch from Scoops Ahoy! because the new season of Stranger Things has shattered all previous records for the company in terms of viewership.
According to an official tweet from Netflix, season three of Stranger Things been watched by 40.7 million household accounts with 18.2 million of those viewers having already binge-watched the entire season.

40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch — more than any other film or series in its first four days. And 18.2 million have already finished the entire season.

This certainly bodes well for the streaming service, and already has fans salivating for a fourth (and perhaps final) season.
