Steven Yeun Lands Starring Role in Jordan Peele’s ‘The Twilight Zone’ Series

Steven Yeun- The Walking Dead fan-favorite actor and recent recipient of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award of Best Supporting Actor for his role in Burning– has just signed on for a major horror project. It turns out that his travel plans include a trip to the set of Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone for a starring role in an upcoming episode called “The Traveler.”

Collider confirms in an exclusive report that Yeun will star in the fourth episode of the new series. According to their report, the episode “follows two cops and a mysterious traveler,” and Yeun will play the aforementioned traveler.

Peele’s new The Twilight Zone series is set to his CBS All Access sometime next year, and casting is reportedly in progress for numerous episodes. Just as Rod Serling did in the original 1959 series, Peele will narrate the series and appear on camera as the host of each installment. Given Peele’s reputation for storytelling, it’s likely that today’s announcement is not the last time we’ll be hearing about major talents signing on to participate in this highly anticipated project.

Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more casting details and complete coverage of The Twilight Zone as soon as it breaks!
