Sony Pictures Unleashes ‘Morbius’ Teaser Trailer

After a very successful debut of Spider-Man villains spin-off films with 2018’s Venom, Sony Pictures is back with a new film starring Spidey’s bloodthirstiest foe! Morbius stars Jared Leto as the titular scientific vampire, and the studio just rolled back the curtain on a teaser trailer featuring his blood red eyes, pointy teeth, and upturned nose. You can watch the clip below:

Sony Pictures also released the following official synopsis of the film:

“One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.”

Morbius also stars Michael Keaton, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson. J.K. Simmons is also rumored to return is J. Jonah Jameson, a role he originally made famous in Sam Raimi’s series of Spider-Man films from the 2000s.
