Scream Queens’ Billie Lourd Cast in American Horror Story Season 7

While the future of Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens is currently uncertain, fans of the franchise have something to be excited about: Deadline reports that fan-favorite Billie Lourd (Chanel #3) has been cast in Murphy’s other big horror television franchise, American Horror Story! She is set to star in Season 7, which will be an allegorical tale somehow related to the 2016 U.S. election cycle.

Science fiction fans know Lourd, the daughter of the late, great Carrie Fisher, for her appearance in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. She is also set to return in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi this winter. On Scream Queens, her character is known for her sarcastic, yet endearing, personality and fashionable outfits. At this time, the details of her role in American Horror Story are under wraps.

Billie Lourd joins fellow newcomer, comedian Billy Eichner, as well as returning favorites Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. Stay tuned to Horror News Network for more details on American Horror Story Season 7 as they break!
