Rebecca Ferguson Lands Lead Role in New ‘Men In Black’ Film

In an exclusive report by Deadline, it has been confirmed that Mission: Impossible Fallout’s Rebecca Ferguson has just landed a key role in Sony Pictures’ Men In Black, also starring  Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Liam Neeson, Emma Thompson, Rafe Spall, and Kumail Nanjani.

It was reported in February by HNN’s John Evans that F. Gary Gray (Straight Out of Compton) will direct the new film which is currently slated to be be released sometime in 2019.

The news of Ferguson’s casting added another exciting element to the film, as evidenced by her recent work in the last two Mission Impossible films, and may help convince some of the naysayers to give the sequel/reboot a chance.  Details about the script or who Ferguson will be playing in the film are currently unavailable.

It was also reported yesterday by HNN that Ferguson recently nabbed the role of the evil Rose the Hat in the upcoming Doctor Sleep (co-written and directed by Mike Flanagan (Oculus, Gerald’s Game).
