‘Preacher’ Returns to SDCC One Last Time

The cast and producer of AMC’s “Preacher” were in attendance at SDCC one last time in advance of their final season premiere on August 4. All fans in attendance were treated to some scenes from the final episodes and some heartfelt stories from the team. “It’s been really fun and I’m really proud” said Executive Producer Seth Rogen about bringing the Garth Ennis comic to the small screen for four seasons. The show will be ending with God being the “Big Bad” that Jesse must find and confront. The big question that will be answered this season is what Jesse will do once he finds him.

SDCC Synopsis: Executive producer Seth Rogen and cast celebrate the beginning of The End. As AMC’s Preacher inches closer to the series finale, God’s endgame for the universe begins to click into place. Trapped between heavenly prophecies, hellish prisons, and all-out nuclear war, Jesse, Tulip, and Cassidy make their bloody way to the Most High. Whether they can reach God in time—or whether all this carnage is part of His divine plan—will soon be revealed as Preacher barrels toward the end of the world. Moderated by Terri Schwartz (IGN), panelists Ruth Negga, Dominic Cooper, Mark Harelik, and Julie Ann Emery will dive into past seasons that often pushed the boundaries with the most outrageous scenes on TV and reveal a sneak peek at the final season, which promises fans of the comic book they’re going out with a bang!
