Official Trailer Revealed for ‘Wrinkles the Clown’

Coulrophobia is in full effect these days. IT Chapter 2 sits atop the box office and now a trailer has been released focusing on a real-life terrifying clown, Wrinkles the Clown. Directed by Michael Beach Nichols, Wrinkles the Clown tells the story of a Florida-based clown who scares children for cold hard cash.

The world was first introduced to this real-life clown in 2014, as a grainy CCTV video was uploaded to YouTube and shows Wrinkles creeping out from under a child’s bed. The video quickly went viral and received a ton of comments and shares. Shortly thereafter more videos of Wrinkles started popping up over the internet along with a telephone number to hire him for “behavioral services.”

“No one was hiring me when I was a regular clown,” the gravelly voiced Wrinkles says in the trailer. “I thought I’d maybe give it a little edge.”

Wrinkles the Clown is set to hit select theaters on October 4. Check out the trailer below and stay tuned to Horror News Network for more on this documentary.
