Official Trailer Revealed for ‘My Friend Dahmer’

FilmRise Releasing debuted the official trailer today for My Friend Dahmer. The films official release date was announced as November 3rd. The trailer, which is almost two and a half minutes, shows Dahmer’s slow descent into madness.

Based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Derf Backderf, the story follows the teenage years of Jeffrey Dahmer as a socially awkward high-school student.

Dahmer, who came to be known as the Milwaukee Cannibal, murdered seventeen people between 1978 and 1991. On February 15, 1992 Dahmer was sentenced to fifteen life sentences for his crimes. The Milwaukee Cannibal would last only two years in prison as he was murdered by fellow inmate Christopher Scarver.

Teen heartthrob Ross Lynch stars as Jeffrey Dahmer in the movie. Other cast members include Anne Heche, Dallas Roberts, Vincent Kartheiser and Alex Wolff.
