Obscure Horror Cinema: Spider Labyrinth

This week’s forgotten horror gem is Spider Labyrinth. One of the last gasps of Italy’s unbelievable streak of horror classics, Spider Labyrinth was directed by Gianfranco Giagni and released in 1988. The film focuses on an American professor searching for a colleague that has traveled to creepy town that was the center of an ancient spider cult. it seems that the inhabitants never really gave up their old time religion. If you ever wondered what a Dario Argento adaptation of a Lovecraft story would look like, here’s your chance to witness the next best thing. Enjoy!
