New Trailer from AMC Reveals Creepy First Look at ‘NOS4A2’

During the mid-season premier of The Walking Dead‘s ninth season aired a teaser for AMC’s latest horror adaptation, NOS4A2 (pronounced Nosferatu), based on the novel by author Joe Hill.

Main characters include Vic McQueen, Bing Patridge, Chris McQueen, Linda McQueen and Charlie Manx, who will be respectively portrayed by Ashleigh Cummings, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Virginia Kull and Zachary Quinto.

An early synopsis for the series tells Quinto will play Manx, a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Manx finds his whole world threatened when a young woman in New England (Cummings) discovers she has a dangerous gift. Cummings will play Vic McQueen, a young, working-class artist whose creativity awakens a supernatural ability to track Manx. What Vic lacks in social confidence, she makes up for in courage, humor, and tough-as-nails grit. She strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself.

From AMC Studios in association with Tornante Television, the one-hour/ten-episode series is executive produced by Joe Hill and Jami O’Brien (Fear The Walking Dead, Hell On Wheels), who created the show for television and will serve as showrunner along with Lauren Corrao, Co-President of Tornante Television.

Since the series is slated to premiere in summer 2019 check out the teaser now!

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
