New Trailer for ‘What We Do in the Shadows’ Season Two Promises More Vampire Hijinks

If you have been looking for some much needed laughter this season, Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement’s new full-length trailer for horror/comedy hit What We Do in the Shadows Season Two should satisfy your “thirst”.

For those unfamiliar with What We Do in the Shadows, HNN described the series last year as being “… based on Waititi and Clement’s film of the same name, the TV adaptation takes place in Staten Island, New York, instead of New Zealand.  The television series stars the three principal vampires, Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Lazslo (Matt Berry), and Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), as well as their roommate Colin (Mark Proksch), a decidedly modern, and yet familiar vampire to anyone who works in an office: the energy leeching vampire.”  The vampires were also joined last season by their loyal human familiar Guillermo (played by Harvey Guillén), who made the mistake of “accidentally killing” a couple of vampires.

Season Two will also feature guest stars Craig Robinson, Mark Hamill, Nick Kroll, and Haley Joel Osment among others. Waititi and Clement reprised their cinematic roles last season (as well as their roommate from the film, Jonathan Brugh) in the star-studded Vampiric Counsel episode in the first season (which also included Dave Bautista, Tilda Swinton, Evan Rachel Wood, Danny Trejo, Paul Reubens, and Wesley Snipes).

What We Do in the Shadows Season Two premieres on April 15 on FX.
