Netflix Sets Release Date for ‘Castlevania’ Season 3

There is no stopping Count Dracula, or movies and television series being made about him either, especially with Netflix’s animated series Castlevania entering its third season set to start streaming on March 5, according to series director Samuel Deats.

The 10-episode third season’s release date was posted via his Twitter page today, see it here:

Based on the video game series of the same name, Castlevania follows the story of the vampire Count Dracula (Graham McTavish), whom after his wife is burned at the stake after being falsely accused of witchcraft declares all the people of Wallachia will pay with their lives. He summons an army of demons that overrun the country, causing the people to live lives of fear and distrust. To combat this, the outcast monster hunter Trevor Belmont (voiced by Richard Armitage) takes up arms against Dracula’s forces, aided by the magician Sypha Belnades (Alejandra Reynoso) and Dracula’s dhampir son Alucard (James Callis).

Since Mark was four years old he has always loved the horror genre, even when his mother would be a good parent and not let him watch such films. It was when he would sneak into the Horror section at the video store called Tommy K's that he would see all of the VHS covers of classics like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street. During his time as a journalism major and news staff writer at Southern CT State University, he had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren before a seminar in 2009 at the Lyman Center on campus.
